Loyka Festive Packaging
Aanchal, the owner of the chocolate brand Loyka reached out to me to design her Diwali packaging. The brief was to stand out on a shelf, something never done before yet appeal to a traditional sensibility. An important aspect of the brief was in the middle of a shelf with a lot of international packaging the design must also be global and contemporary. Staying away from competitor chocolate brand colours was a must, so I experimented a lot with fun colour combinations.

Diwali is an important part of their Corporate gifting, season. Therefore the designs had to be traditional, yet stand out amongst international brands on a shelf.
A part of the brief, post-Diwali was to create a collection of boxes that could work all year round, across occassions.

The most commercially successful design.
This was a design that wasn't approved at first. But I insisted on the team just looking at the different colour variations. Geometry, I felt is very universal.It speaks across cultures and aesthetic sensibilities. It worked. This box design led to a 500% sales increase in Loyka's numbers in the year 2023. What was a Diwali packaging ran wonderfully as an all year round pack.
